Some Gave All
Denis Javier Gallardo, of St Petersburg,Florida died just after midnight November 22, 2005. He was only 22 years old. He died of pneumonia at Camp Sykes Iraq near Tal Afar. He was with the Army's 2nd squadron, 3rd Armored Calvary Regiment - Fort Carson, Colorado.
Javier was 11 years old when he came here to the United States. He graduated at Clearwater High School and then he joined the Army. He changed his MOS to go to Iraq. He loved the Army and the United States.
In just 3 years he made Sergent. He loved the fact that he was Airborne qualified. When he was buried, he was awarded the Bronze Star.
Thank you to Denis and all of the others who serve for the right of freedom. May God bless your family for all they have given for Liberty and Freedom. I will never forget the price of freedom and I will make sure my children and grandchildren understand the cost!
This post was written as part of "Some Gave All", an effort to commemorate the sacrifice of these heroes. By Name
"Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends."John 15:13

Beautiful post...Sad, but beautiful.
