Are you crazy?

When we decided to adopt, everyone asked the same question -- Are you crazy? Well, maybe. Even our pediatrician thought (thinks) we're nuts. I can understand their thinking. I just don't agree with it. Yes, we've raised 4 children to adulthood. Yes, we have two sweet, perfect grandchildren. It just doesn't mean we're through! We thought we were, but the Lord led us down this new path. We thank Him for it everyday. Yes, we are back to square one. Diapers, colds, boo-boos, pukes and all. We love it. Okay not so much the pukes, but other than that it's great. Our grown children are watching us parent this baby (believe me that will keep you on your toes) and can get a glimpse into their own babyhood. Cool! Of course, we are older and wiser(hopefully) now. We hope that we can refrain from making any of the same mistakes. That remains to be seen! It is our goal though. I'll fill you in on the progress.
