Thank ya'll sooo much for your prayers and concern. I feel very humbled and blessed to have made such wonderful friends. The visit went well. We had prayed alot about because this Dr. has a reputation for a poor bedside manner--yet he is also the number one seizure Doc in Atlanta. We decided to take the bad with the good, to get the best care for our baby. As it turned out (answered prayer) he was totally great. We still don't know all of the answers, but feel better equipped to deal with it all. He has ordered another EEG which is scheduled for March 9th (soonest appt. available, go figure). The Doc upped his medication, so it will be interesting to see how that affects him. I know that if he has another seizure like the scariest day one -- I will still be very frightened, but at least I'll recognize it as a seizure and I'll know the first aid to perform. He did confirm something that the Doc. at the MRI told us --that he does have a heart murmur. When we mentioned it to him prior to the exam, he didn't seem concerned, but on exam he said he would need to see a cardiologist. :( I'll keep ya'll posted on that. Sadly, it is common to have seizures while sleeping (which he was during scariest day), so that means I don't sleep well (hey prime time to blog). It is such a fear of mine that he will seize in the night and I won't know it. I know, God is in control. Not ME. We will just continue to lift him up in prayer and everything will work according to God's will. Thanks again, for your prayers and concern. It means so much.
I'm glad you had a good visit. Your perspectve on all of his care sounds right on track! Still praying!

Seizures are so scary. My older sister had her first known seizure (hindsight showed many petit mal seizures before the grand mal one) when I was five and she was 7. It was very frightening. She was diagnosed with epilepsy.
She is now 43, med controlled and lives a very "normal" life. No different than you or I.
The why's, how's and when's can hold you bondage. I say that knowing I would be afraid to sleep as well. Keep giving it over to God. Even if that takes a lifetime of giving.
