This is posted here today for No Average girl who lost her pawpaw this week.
Turn Your eyes Upon Jesus
O soul are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There's light for a look at the Saviour,
And life more abundant and free:
Turn you eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face;
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace.
Through death into life everlasting
He passed,
and we follow Him there;
Over us sin no more hath dominion
For more than conqu'rors we are!
His word shall not fail you He promised;
Believe Him and all will be well.
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!
Turn you eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face;
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace.
Oh, Faith, that is so sweet of you...and I love that hymn.

Faith, how sweet and thoughful of you, to think of offering comfort to a hurting friend this way.
I love this song. We often use it as an invitation song and as a quiet worship song.
No average girl,
You don't know me, but if you are a Christian, too, we are sisters in Christ. I will be praying for you and your family in this time of loss. I just lost my Mama and Daddy less than a year ago and I know what you are feeling now.
Just know that the Holy Spirit stands ready to comfort you, and I care, too.

It is a wonderful song, with such simplicity. I love it too. Noaveragegirl - your name suits you. I believe you really are NO AVERAGE GIRL. Good for you! Prayers are being lifted still.
