Hello Faith!
I actually stopped by yesterday after seeing your picture on Mommylife :) Very nice! I'd love to read that book too :) My laundry room is in the basement...so I think I'll just opt to buy the book :)
I read your post about your little one's seizure...I can not imagine the fear! I recently have had some trips to the Md. for little ones that have been a bit unpleasant to say the least. It definitely keeps our eyes on the One who has us in His hands!Anyway, God be with you!

I will be praying, Faith!

Sending prayers your way!!! Good luck keeping the little guy awake. They have no idea what they are asking for do they?

Your little guy is so BLESSED to have you for a mommy! The more I think about it and the more I read about you and him (and your hubby too!) the more I see God's hand picking him up and placing him in your arms to care for him and all his needs.

God knew what he was doing (duh)when He brought you together as mommy and son. He knew you'd be able to give him the care he would need for his little sweet life!

Bless you and your hubby for being AWESOME parents!

I will be praying that all goes well and God keeps him (and you) awake and in good spirits!

#1: What ARE they thinking with all the lack of sleep?
#2: I think I'm just going to add you and your son to my daily prayers.

God bless you!

I have been through this and more with my daughter. It is not as bad as you anticipate, and this, too, shall pass........

Prayers are going up as I type, and I will put ya'll on our prayer list at church tonight.

God Love You,

Thank you all for the prayers. We covet them. Stephanie - how sweet. Thanks. Saragrace - They need/want him to have seizure activity during the test and lack of sleep might do it. Also, they would like for him to fall asleep for part of it too.

how do you keep a kid awake 7 hours more than he's used to? did they tell you how to manage that part?

I'll be praying, writing it down right now so I don't forget.

Hey, Faith, parying for the little man!

Hi Loni,

I will keep you and your little guy in prayer today--my hope is that you will have quick and good results!

Blessings to you!

Praying for you today on this "showering" day. :)

I know it is difficult to see our little ones suffering, in the hospital etc. (My son had open heart surgery at 4 months old.)This hymn meant a lot to me at that time.

Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

Keep your eyes fixed on Him.

In Christ,

PS I noticed you have Red Lights in your roll call. Monica is my friend from the Trisomy 21 board...it's a small world.

We'll be keeping you all in our prayers today. I hope they will be able to get the information they need. I wonder why they can't just do this at night? You'd think it would be easier on everyone.

Let us know how it goes.

God Bless.
