where she'll stop, no body knows! Ha! That was my day yesterday. My grown son PB had knee surgery a week ago. Yesterday was to be his "wound check" follow up. Seems simple enough. We got to the office building and I realized that my older daughter CL was also in this building for a prenatal visit. Soooo, up I went to the sixth floor to visit with her while PB was waiting for his appt. I was thiiiiissss close to watching the ultrasound when I had to run back to the first floor for PB's visit. Well, turned out PB has a blood clot in his leg - not good. Now, he heads up to the third floor for his ultrasound. I head up to the sixth floor again to get an update on CL. the big news - it's a boy!! Now, time to head to the third floor just in the nick of time to see his ultrasound. His brought the confirmation of the clot. Boo!! Now, back down to the first floor to the original Dr. and then he sends us through the tunnel to the hospital. Whew!!
I looked like a crazy women running to and fro. If it weren't so serious,it would have been comical.
To liven things up a bit... we were visited by a nurse trying to impersonate a doctor. Interesting. The elevator door closed ON ME. Embarrassing. The tech that did PB's ultrasound had the personality of a shrew. We got lost in the tunnel to the hospital and walked an extra two thousand miles!! Easy for me, not so easy for Gimpy.
Ahhh, A day in the life.
